~*Shitajiki*~

Shitajiki are Japanese pencil boards - plastic boards that to go under
the paper you're writing on to provide a smooth surface.  They are relatively
inexpensive, yet are often decorated with lovely artwork.  Some have pictures
on both sides while others are simply translucent.
